Intelligent Supply Chain: Part 3 - intelligent

Online Seminar - JAN 21, 2021 - 10:00 am (CET) and 15:00 pm (CET) - ENGLISH

Is your supply chain already intelligent?

Smart supply chain solutions ensure reliable control of production and logistics. They connect the players involved and provide them with the necessary information and data.

In this environment, the digital revolution enables machines to be integrated into a process that streamlines production and makes results more predictable. Making logistics part of this process means integrating it into the Internet of Things (IoT). This yields an intelligent supply chain by bundling data across the entire value chain, creating real-time actionable insights through analytics on existing and new 3rd party data.

In the third part of our online seminar series "Is your supply chain already intelligent?" together with our partner Atos we will present use cases that enable companies to make better decisions. Based on the use of IoT applications and analysis tools, intelligent solutions for logistical challenges can be developed.

  • Precise Time of Arrival provides insights into arrival time for multi-leg multi-mode (sea, air, rail, road) transport bearing in mind all external factors impacting travel duration (weather, traffic, customs, etc.)
  • In-Transport Visibility provides insights into the conditions in which goods are transported, using sensors attached to boxes, pallets, or containers, capturing many variables such as humidity, tilt, shock, or temperature
  • Shop Floor Track & Trace provides insights into the location of goods on a physical site such as a warehouse, a factory, or a consolidation center using technologies such as UWB (Ultra Wide Band) or RFID

And, more than providing insights, the true value of an intelligent supply chain comes from being alerted early and proactively in the event of deviations from the plan and thus making decisions on a solid data basis that can mitigate a possible risk in time. This creates a more resilient supply chain network for the future.

Our experts will be available to answer your questions in the final Q&A session.
